Women's March

What it felt like to be a guy at the Women's March in London, 22 January 2017
By William George-Carey

The atmosphere on 21st January was electric. I've never felt anything quite like it. I wanted to march not just against the new president, but against all misogynistic behaviour. Looking back at when women weren't allowed to vote or it was illegal to be homosexual, it sounds brainless. The same will apply in the future when we look back at men acting inappropriately or illegally towards women (whilst passing it off as 'locker room talk'). Men and women are in this together.
