Curtain Call: Regents Park Open Air Theatre

For lovers of: the Just So stories, Tiger Tiger by William Blake and Swiss Family Robinson

Based on the book by our national treasure Micheal Morpurgo, this play takes us to a jungle far away using life-sized animal puppets and a cast of 70+ actors, 50 of which are children to tell the story of a young girl/boy (varies night to night) and their adventures in Indonesia. Inspired by the true story of a boy who was riding an elephant when the Tsunami hit, you will marvel at the expert puppeteers, previously seen in War Horse, and their command over Oona the elephant. It's impossible to ignore the hard hitting themes of love, loss and our disintegrating rainforests. Perfect for a long summer evening.
