Curtain Call: New playwrights

Tuck in to some of London’s finest new writing this month. The Bush Theatre in Shepherds Bush is the best place for this; don't miss The Royale by Marco Ramirez. This gripping story of a heavyweight champion in 1905 will leave you awe–struck. For East Londoners The Arcola has a lot of wonders coming up this month, especially Callisto. After its Edinburgh Fringe success it will have a limited run so grab tickets while you can! Playwright of this literary month is Kate Tempest. Known for her spoken word poetry, her plays are equally as fab.  Buy Wasted at the National Theatre bookshop or online.

PS. Everyone's talking about Harold Pinter's No Man's Land. Avoid the wincingly expensive tickets by booking to see it on screen thanks to National Theatre Live. Book at
