What better way to return to reality than with a Mondrian uniform. Taken in 1965, this photograph showcases the legendary French fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent’s famed ‘Mondrian Collection’: a group of cocktail dresses that were inspired by the geometric lines and boldly saturated blocks of primary colour that epitomise Mondrian’s iconic mode of abstraction.
